"Touring Scotland"
Is the service referring to before the trip? If so it as very good. As for the rest of the trip it was very good too. All of the accommodations were nice though a fan would have been appreciated. The food was good. Really liked that breakfast was included. The only big problem was the 50 seater bus assigned to us. There were only 7 of us on the tour. So besides it being a big waste of space and energy it was way too big to go down and then back up at our Isle of the Skye boat ride launch site. It became dangerous when the bus couldn’t make it up the steep hill and almost went off the side of the road - backwards and over a small cliff. Tony asked us a to get off the bus for safety reasons and the bus finally made it up the hill. Also a couple of times the dinner was at 8:30 or later. That was too late for me and they were heavy meals. The steam engine train was terrific but the other trains were just commuter trains. They were crowded and finding a place for our luggage was sometimes a challenge. We really wanted to sleep on the train and that part was cancelled. So that was disappointing. The moderate hike was very difficult and should be rated as hard. Tony was fantastic and took care of all of our needs. Over all the trip gets 4 stars.
